Caravan is our attempt to bring that network into one place.

This starts with Dhow Horizon Fund I, our first investment product, and will expand over time into additional funds, SPVs, private equity opportunities, and other values-aligned investment products.

Our goal is to make private markets feel less opaque, less intimidating, and less locked behind closed networks.

Members can explore opportunities, understand the thesis, follow fund updates, and request allocation directly through the app.

Most people in our community have been locked out of private markets for two reasons: they don’t get shown the opportunities, and even when they do, the language is often confusing, institutional, and difficult to evaluate.

The Library is where we’re solving the second part.

Members can learn private market fundamentals, understand fund terms, study investment concepts, track their progress, and build conviction before investing.

We want Dhow to help people become better investors, not just give them more things to invest in.

Dhow Horizon Fund I is the first investment product available through the Dhow platform.

It is a $5M seed-stage venture fund backing Muslim-origin and values-aligned technology founders across North America.

Our thesis is simple: exceptional Muslim founders are building in massive markets, but many remain underfunded by traditional venture networks and underconnected to aligned capital. At the same time, Muslim investors want exposure to private markets but often lack access to early-stage opportunities they can understand, trust, and participate in.

Dhow Horizon Fund I is built to close that gap.

The fund is focused on high-conviction investments across sectors like AI, software, fintech, healthcare, robotics, infrastructure, consumer, and frontier technology. We are looking for founders building companies with the potential to become category-defining businesses.

We already have institutional capital committed, our first close is approaching, and limited $10K founding allocations are available for accredited investors.

We’re starting with Dhow Horizon Fund I and venture-backed technology founders, but the roadmap is much bigger.

Over time, we plan to expand into additional private market opportunities, including SPVs, thematic funds, cash-flowing private equity deals, dividend-oriented investment products, and other values-aligned assets that give our community more ways to build long-term wealth.

We also plan to pursue the licenses and regulatory pathways needed to open more opportunities to non-accredited investors, with future minimums as low as $500.

That matters because private markets have historically been reserved for institutions, family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth investors. We believe more people in our community should be able to participate, learn, and build ownership earlier.

Our mission is simple:

For centuries, dhow ships connected people, trade, capital, and ideas across the Muslim world.

They moved across the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Peninsula, East Africa, South Asia, and beyond, carrying more than goods. They connected communities.

That symbolism matters to us.

We chose the name Dhow because we believe our generation needs a modern version of that same infrastructure.
